Review Process

All submitted manuscripts are initially evaluated by the editorial team. The journal applies a blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of published articles.

Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s scope, standards, or submission requirements may be rejected by the editors without external review. Manuscripts considered suitable and potentially valuable to the journal’s readership will be sent to independent reviewers for further evaluation.

The final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of a manuscript is made by the Editorial Board based on the recommendations provided by the reviewers. Decisions may include one of the following outcomes:

  • Accept without revision
  • Accept with minor revisions
  • Resubmit after major revisions
  • Reject

There is no direct communication between authors and reviewers during the review process. All correspondence is managed through the editorial system to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of the review process.

Prior to peer review, all submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using Turnitin plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts that show evidence of plagiarism, duplicate publication, or unethical publication practices will be rejected immediately.

Authors whose manuscripts are rejected will be informed of the editorial decision along with the reasons for rejection. Authors receiving revision requests are expected to address all reviewer comments and submit a revised version within the specified timeframe.

The journal is committed to maintaining a fair, objective, transparent, and timely review process to ensure the publication of high-quality scholarly research in Islamic economics, business management, and halal industry studies.
